Andrea McKenna
Chief Executive Officer
She/Her
Andrea co-founded Aintree Group with her husband, Shane, over 20 years ago. Together, they set out to build a truly integrated, multidisciplinary firm offering accounting, legal, wealth, finance and advisory services under one roof — a trusted advisor clients could turn to for everything they need.
With a background in politics, marketing and communications, Andrea brings a broad perspective to leadership and problem-solving. Her extensive knowledge of operations and strategy is backed by decades of experience as both a business owner and advisor. She has a strong interest in optimising systems and processes, and is a passionate advocate for life-long learning and the power of curiosity.
Andrea is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, small businesses and community organisations overcome challenges and achieve sustainable success. Beyond her professional commitments, she serves on numerous committees and advisory boards, and provides mentorship to the next generation of industry leaders.
When I worked as a Chartered Accountant at other accounting practices, I could see many of my clients were withholding important questions because the clock was ticking and they didn’t want to pay for extra time. Or they had questions about personal financial matters, but were prevented from bringing them up for the same reasons.
They were frustrated and so was I.
I thought about how useful it would be if there was an accounting business that was more like a business advisor. Who could answer all kinds of business questions, not just around accounting or tax. An advisor with a fixed fee structure so that clients never felt the meter was ticking.
I knew this kind of advisor would support clients for the long haul – from start up through to retirement. And not just for business, but for personal matters as well.
I wanted an accounting and tax business that was built on genuine trust and personal connection – where clients are like family. And that’s why I created Aintree Group.”

Huxley Waldron
Chief Lunchbox Auditor
It’s Huxley’s office, and we’re just working in it.
Meet Sir Huxley Waldron the First. At work, Huxley is passionate about lunchtimes, ankles, stray tennis balls, deli meats from the fridge, playing hide and seek with his mum Ally, sleeping on or under desks, belly rubs, and staring down people when locked outside their office. He grows tired from barking at wheels and visitors, and does not appreciate that the burden has fallen to him in this regard.
Outside of work, Huxley is passionate about sleeping in, and day trips to the beach. He doesn’t go in though, and would like to clarify it is not out of fear. The waves think they know wrath, but they haven’t met him yet. He is considerate like that.
Huxley’s favourite quote: ‘All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.’ — George Orwell.

Teddy McKenna
Office Security Guard (Works Remotely)
What’s in a name?
Meet Teddy, who true to his title, is one big loveable ball of cuddles.
Despite his big size and excitable nature, he isn’t a very scary security guard – he’s more interested in playing and making new friends than chasing people away. Although, he has successfully defeated several office tennis balls and ring toss quoits in battle.
Outside the office, he loves exploring the wilderness, getting into puddles and rivers, running along the beach, and hanging out with his family, including his dad Jacob, grandparents Shane and Andrea, and adoptive pup mums Ginger and Nutmeg.
Teddy’s philanthropy continues. He is quite the celebrity at doggy day care, and can often be spotted on the Wagtime Co Instagram Page.
When asked about a possible return to the office, Teddy was quoted saying: ‘Veni, vidi, vici.’ — I came, I saw, I conquered.
