Run For The Kids

Each year Aintree Group puts together a team to participate in Run For The Kids to raise funds for the Chronic Illness Peer Support Program (ChIPS) at The Royal Children’s Hospital.

Aintree Group Directors Graham, Shane and Andrea are also all members of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Unfortunately the 2020 R4K event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We want to thank all our runners, sponsors and donors for their support for this campaign.

While the event itself is no longer going ahead, the funds raised will still be an enormous help.  To find out more about this wonderful cause, please see below.

About ChIPS – our reason for running

ChIPS is a vibrant peer support program for young people, led by young people.

Based at the Royal Children’s Hospital (Department of Adolescent Medicine) in Melbourne, ChIPS works to engage young people from metropolitan and rural Victoria who are living with a primary diagnosis of a chronic medical illness. 

Delivered for over twenty years, the program is currently is 100% philanthropically funded via The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation. All money raised on Aintree Group’s fundraising page for Run For The Kids 2020, will be donated directly to ChIPS.
