Aintree Group is very proud to sponsor three canoe slalom athletes who have qualified to represent Australia in 2022.

Tristan Carter and Kaylen Bassett are part of the 2022 Australian Senior Canoe Slalom Team, and Ben Ross has been selected for the U23 Junior Australian Team. These three paddlers are spending their winter competing in various races across Europe alongside Australian team mates (and Olympians) Jess Fox and Lucien Delfour.

Tristan qualified as “first boat” in Mens C1 after placing first in all the selection races. He is joined in the Mens C1 team by Kaylen, who has been an Aintree Group sponsorship recipient for quite a few years. Both will begin the 2022 ICF World Cup season in Prague, Czech Republic on 10 June 2022, and then compete in the ICF Senior World Championship in Ausburg, Germany from 26 – 31 July.

Ben Ross has been selected for the U23 Junior Australian Team in the Mens C1 class, and will race in the Junior/U23 World Championships in Ivrea, Italy from 5 – 10 July.
