Changes To Our Bookkeeping Team in 2025

We have made some NEW changes to our bookkeeping team in 2025!

We have transitioned from using the term ‘bookkeeping’ to ‘management accounting’ to better represent the evolving scope of our services, the expertise we provide to our clients and the integration these services have with our accounting team.

Why have we made these changes?

1. Offer a more holistic service.

Management accounting goes beyond transactional data entry to focus on analysing financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting business decision-making.

This aligns with our goal to deliver an integrated, end-to-end service that adds greater value for our clients.

2. More integration with our accounting team.

The move emphasises how closely these roles are now tied to the broader accounting function. Management Accountants are not working in isolation but are integrated with our accounting teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.

3. Reflect our expertise.

‘Bookkeeping’ often implies basic or transactional tasks, which doesn’t accurately represent the qualifications, or the strategic input provided by our team members in these roles.

The term “Management Accountant” acknowledges their skills and the critical role they play in financial planning, reporting, and supporting client business growth.

4. Maintain a future-focused approach.

This change supports our team structure as we focus on developing skills, fostering collaboration, and delivering a unified and proactive client experience.

This shift has not affected clients who use our existing bookkeeping services.
