ATO Negotiation Form

The purpose of this form is to capture all the information needed before starting a negotiation with the ATO on behalf of a client. This is a very detailed form because we need to be prepared for a range of questions that will be asked about the client and their financial circumstances when negotiating on their behalf. If we don’t have this information on-hand when the process begins, it slows down the application and can cause unnecessary back and forth and time between the client, our team and the ATO – which can also negatively impact the outcome of the negotiation.

If you have any questions about the contents of this form, please speak to your Manager in the first instance.

  • Please select from the following:
  • Payment Plan

  • Please note if a client has a debt on more than one account, the ATO may not approve a Payment Plan on just one of those accounts.
  • If client has defaulted on a payment plan for the relevant account in the past two years, please also provide a reason for this.
  • Please note: The ATO normally require the first payment to be 10% of the debt, and for it to be paid within 7 days. If this is an issue, you need to discuss this with the client before proceeding any further.
